SECURITY STATEMENT   LightPort.com has taken extensive measures to ensure the integrity and security of client data.   LightPort.com was conceived to be, and still maintains that we are, an extension to the financial intermediary's practice... not just a "Web-Site" company. As a result of this focus, we spend much time and attention to providing the highest level of security and confidentiality for our customers and their clients. Here are some of the ways we ensure that we meet and exceed all expectations:  ·        Encryption: LightPort.com uses secure encrypted connections for display and transmittal of "sensitive" data.  VeriSignTM (http://www.verisign.com) was chosen to provide Secure Server IDs for LightPort's customers because of their industry-wide reputation for quality and reliability. We use the highest grade of encryption allowable by the U.S. government to protect data transmissions (currently 128bit encryption, sometimes known as Strong Encryption).  ·        User IDs and Passwords: LightPort.com creates every site with the capability of password-protecting information that is deemed necessary by the site's owner. Every User ID and Password is completely configurable.  Access is granted to individual pages in the site by "explicit authorization."   ·        Portfolio Reporting Authentication: Every portfolio must have explicit permissions granted to it for individual users.  Each client portfolio is segregated on our servers from other portfolios.
